Gas insulated substation (GIS) Southern Port and Bay Port
We managed and constructed a gas insulated substation (GIS) for the Southern Port (Ashdod) and supervised a substation project at the Bay Port (Haifa). These projects consisted of the following:
Constructing a 171Kv gas insulated substation (GIS) with two 161/22Kv transformers of 50 MVA each, high voltage, intermediate voltage, low voltage of electrical systems and complex command, control and communication systems.
Our services included project management timetables, budget control, contract management, engineering supervision and management, superposition and system coordination, document control (DC) management, communication with overseas GIS equipment vendors and with Israeli LLI vendors and communication with consultants, designers and the customer’s representatives, all the way to the project’s final delivery.
